Maxwell - seven months old

Oh what a happy little guy. He is so much fun and growing up so fast. He is learning new things all the time. Any day now he will start crawling I just know it. He scoots in circles on his tummy and rolls everywhere, so that is what I am sure will come next.
He will eat anything, too bad he doesn't have any teeth yet to fully enjoy it!!

We finally got Max a high chair and he loves it. It is a total lifesaver when it comes time to make dinner, he loves to just sit and talk to me while I get things in the kitchen done. He loves food too. This little guy will eat anything you stick in front of him, even though he still has no teeth! He also loves to drink from a cup, he is actually becoming quite good at it!

Max got his picture with Santa. Santa was afraid he would cry, but he just sat there and enjoyed the moment.

We got our first real Christmas tree this year. The last 2 years we have been traveling for the holidays so I would put up my fake 3 foot tree from college. It was fun to go and pick out the one we want and chop it down.

Max got bundled up on John's request one evening to play in the snow. He was out there long enough to take the pictures and then we headed back inside.

Maxwell- six months

He is getting so big so fast I can't hardly believe it. Nothing is safe anymore either. The little guy rolls all over and has figured how to scoot in circles, no forward or backward motions yet, but he sure is trying too. No teeth yet, but he does love food. He licks his lips anytime he sees anything that he knows could potentially be tasty. Not to mention the fact that he puts everything in his mouth. He loves to chew on his toes the most I think. As you can see by the pictures he is always wet on the front as well. He drips like a faucet.

This little rocking chair was minre when I was little.
At the doctor yesterday Max weighed in at 15 lbs. 13 oz and is now 26 1/2 in.

Max was a cute little pumpkin for Halloween. He was just learning to sit on his own when I took this picture, so sadly right after this was taken he fell into the gravel. It was sad, but he was ok.

My sister and I did a craft fair last weekend. I made all the hair bows and headbands and her and her husband did the cars. I think they had more fun than I did. Sitting there selling my things makes me sick to my stomach, not my thing at all!!

Well there you have it, last month in a nutshell. Next post will have Thanksgiving on it so hopefully it will be more exciting!

Maxwell- five months old

Max is getting so big and so fun. I just have to kiss his cheeks all the time!! The silly little guy decided a couple of weeks ago that breastfeeding wasn't his thing anymore so he is a bottle guy now. I am sure those cheeks are going to chunk up even more!

He started eating rice cereal last week and he loves the stuff. He attacks the spoon, it is pretty funny.

These next pictures are from my cousin-in-laws family's vineyard. We went there for a little sunday outting. It was very beautiful and the grapes were super yummy!

This is the cousin who's vineyard it is!

Max can almost roll himself back to front but isn't quit there, but he can roll front to back like a champ!

This is the cake I made for Trevin's birthday. It was pretty funny and quit pathetic looking!

The cake was the same size as Max so we had to take a picture. Hahahaha!

Maxwell- four months

"ok, I can handle this four month thing, just no more shots!"
(He was a trooper getting his shots, he only cried for maybe a second and that was it. The next day we was great as well, pretty much cuddled and slept, then the second day he was super cranky, guess that's what I get for bragging that he did so well)
"maybe I'll just eat this four, looks kind of tasty"
(everything goes into his mouth these days, I am just waiting for the time my finger goes in and ouch, teeth!!)

"ok, maybe four months is harder than I thought!"

This is pretty much what Max does when I get him naked. He loves to just kick back and relax. Can you see how skinny he is? Only 13.1 lbs and 25 inches long. He is one long skinny little guy!

Here is what I've been up lately, canning some yummy fruit for Max to have this winter when he starts eating solid foods, and a little grape jelly. I also made some homeade bread and it turned out great. John informed me he doesn't really like homemade bread......WHAT? I was shoked, who doesn't like homemade bread. Well, more for me I guess!!

On Labor day my dad took us to visit some of the dairies he has worked on. This one milks 72 of 75 (can't remember which) cows at a time on this awesome carousel. They get in on one side and then it just moves around and shuffles them off the other, pretty cool if you ask me!

Super cute Max!!

Just some cute pictures of Max for the family to see! He is getting so big and so stinkin' cute!

I think he looks alot like John in the above picture.

This is the quilt my grandma (Max's Great-grandma) made for him. The little boots Max has on were some that my aunt Nancy had made for me when I was a baby!

This was Max's first rodeo. He loved watching the horses.

Maxwell- three months old

I can't believe how big Max is getting, he sure had a busy month. This month he went on his first big vacation. We drove to Utah to spend time with family and friends and then drove to California to attend a wedding for John's cousin. It was a busy ten days but we sure had fun seeing everyone, and Max was a great traveler. When we got back from our travels I put Max in his own room to sleep, he is a big boy now! Today was also Max's first hair cut. He has been losing all his baby hair and I was tired of the whispy peices so I trimmed them down to match the new hair that is growing in. Isn't he just a handsome little thing?

Max with his Mimzy (John's mom) He sure does miss her!

John's mom has a pool in her backyard so Max got his first try at swimming. He actually didn't mind it, just sucked on his hands the whole time.

This is Max with his great grandma Middaugh (John's mom's mom)

Aunt Caitie with the babies. John's brother's wife had a baby a month before Max. They will be good little buddies one day.

Best little Buddies!!

When we were in California we tood Max to the beach. It was actually really cold so Max didn't love it so much. John sure did though, him and his brother played in the water for almost and hour, man that water was so cold!

We sure miss everyone. We had a great time visiting!!
