Maxwell- two months old

He is growing nicely. He is now ten and half pounds and 23 inches long. He is still a great sleeper as well, only gets up once at night and I don't even know if you can call it at night because the sun is usually coming up when he does wake up.
We blessed this cute little thing on the fourth of July, which also happens to be my favorite holiday so it was perfect. We had almost all of John's family come to town and stay with us and we all had such a great time.

My grandma Byington smocked this little outfit for Maxwell to wear on his special day. Aren't the bunnies just so cute. He also wore my dad's baby booties that I happened to be blessed in as well.

This was his special outfit for the BBQ after church. He was such a good baby all day, even though he hardly slept. He is just like his dad, doesn't want to miss a party. We sure love him!

Maxwell- one month old

He is already getting so big, when I was going through the proccess of getting him here I never thought this day would come. Max really is a good baby, good sleeper, good eater, I don't have anything to complain about (ok, I do wish my feet and legs would stop swelling)
This is my favorite outfit that John's mom gave Max. It is a newborn size so this was the last time he will get to wear it, the shirt is a little tight lenghwise now.

This is Max's nursery, not much to it, it is really small but gets the job done.

This is the outfit my parents brought me home from the hospital in. My mom had saved it all these years, so I put Max in it for a picture.

Shower

My sister and mom threw me a baby shower last weekend and it was awesome! Tiffany made all the invites and this cute little banner to look like little onsies, super cute!

Mom (probably with some help from Tiffany) made the diaper cake and wreath. This little baby now has plenty of toys and socks!

these are all the blankets we received as gifts. There was so much stuff that I had to set it all out in groups just to take pictures of it! Everyone was so nice to us.

Holy cow, look at all that stuff. We sure are ready for this little guy now, I don't think there is anything we are missing. But watch, there will be some tiny thing that will be super inportant to have and its not in the stash. Guess we'll have to send John out to get if if we find we are missing something.

This is amost embarassing, look at all the clothes this kid has. Not to mention his closet already had some things in it. He deffinently will be well dress, at least till he is six months old anyway, because that is where the sizes pretty much stop. Hopefully he will just be and average size little guy and will actually be able to wear these clothes for six months before he has nothing left.

Oh and finally another shot of my large belly (and body). I think this was taken at about 34 weeks. I am not one of the lucky ones to just gain in the belly area, I am carrying this baby everywhere. Such is the joy of being pregnant I guess, which hopefully won't be much longer. I am 38 weeks tomorrow, and I hope I don't have to go much longer. I am really getting uncomfortable and I'm ready to be done. I am sure the next post will be all about the baby since I tend to not blog that often anyway, so stay tuned!

And with much hard work and frusteration here is our beautiful new kitchen!! I think it turned out pretty nice!

Baby things!!

Last weekend my mom and I made a trip out of town to purchase some essential baby items, and this is the crib and changing table I picked out. (I will post pictures of the nursery when it is all put together, because I found some pretty cute bedding as well)
I have really wanted a jogging stroller, so after much looking and debating back and forth I decided to go with this stroller/car seat combo. I am pretty excited about it.
