Maxwell- eleven months

I can't believe the next post my baby will be turning one! Where has all he time gone? Max and I did get to do some fun things this last month, you'll have to scroll down to check them out!

Max and I went to Idaho and Utah to see friends and family the first week of April. This is Max's first experience with Cafe' rio! He loved is as you can tell, he is picking up his plate and licking it clean.

MMMMM, black bean heaven. He liked the beans more than the tortilla, silly boy.
When we were in Utah we went to the zoo with grandma and Max's cousin. They had a blast. Whenever it is too bright for Max he makes this scrunchy face, its hilarious.

We even got to ride the carousel. Max wasn't too sure about it. After the pictures were taken he wanted off the panda.
I also took Max to see his first movie, we saw HOP. He liked it 'till the last fifteen minutes then he was done.
The weekend before our trip to Utah Max and I babysat my sister's two kids for the weekend. We had a nice day so we walked to the park for some play time.
I dressed Max and his cousin in matching outfits then set them on the floor for pictures. It was too funny, they both started crying as to say ,"why are we in the same thing, we look so ridiculous?!"

But they eventually got over the fact that they looked alike and found plenty of mischief together. Here they are hiding behind the dvd tower pulling all the movies out. Those little stinkers.
OH, and this is the craft project I worked on this month, ok, it only took me a day to do. I found the frame at Tia Pan (one of my favorite stores to visit in Utah), and then just sprayed it black and added the embelishments. Now all my pictues of family and friends are displayed on it instead of all over my refrigerator.
We have a couple of birthdays coming up so be looking for next months post!!!

Maxwell- ten months

Well isn't he cute?? Haha! He just kept rolling or crawling away from me about as fast as I could set him on the floor. I did manage to get a few cute ones though.

He got a big boy hair cut this last month for family pictures we took in Utah. He looks so big now!

This is what I saw when I peeked in on his nap yesterday, he was just talking to himself, and relaxing!

This was at the family pictures, but I had this picture taken on my camera.

Across the field from John's mom's house is the Winder Dairy. I kind of knew this place was there, but didn't know what a gem it was until this trip to Utah. I plan on making it a fun thing we do everytime we go to grandma's in Utah.

Here are a few craft projects I have been working on lately:
Project 1: diaper bag

Project 2: My dad's birthday present

I also decided to cut all my hair off, I was just so tired of it.
Before:

After:

Well that's all 'till next month!!!!

Maxwell- nine months

This month I didn't get as many cute pictures. When ever I try to get Max to smile his tongue comes out instead. For the last few days all we have seen is his silly tongue hanging out!

Ok this one is kind of cute, but he was trying to crawl to the camera instead.

Max has learned how to stand up in bed which makes bed time hard some nights. This particular night he stood at the end and cried to get out just moments after I put him in, then he was quite, I went to check on him and found that he fell asleep and slid down the side of the bars. He is funny sometimes, we find him in all kinds of weird sleeping postitions.

Max found a new friend in the mirror the other day. It was acutally pretty cute, he was talking to himself and giving himself kisses.

Max loves food, and he loves to feed himself. He is eating some pancakes in this picture.

We also took him on the swing for the first time a couple of weeks ago. He thought it was pretty awesome. I think we are going to get a swing for our house when the weather warms up.

Maxwell-eight months old

CAUTION: CUTENESS/PICTURE OVERLOAD, PROCEED WITH CATION!!!
The other day Max and I were a little bored so we pulled out his beach wear and had a little photo shoot. But try and tell me this kid isn't just the cutest!!!

Maxwell got this cute little monkey outfit for Christmas, he has such a big noggin that I don't think the hat will fit much longer!

Max's first pickle, he thought it was pretty tasty. He just loves, loves, loves food!!

Max helped daddy put the new garbage disposal in. He was such a good helper!!

I made this cake for my mom's birthday. Its a chocolate black bean cake. Somewhat healthy and it tasted delicious.

L to R: Maxwell, Cambree, Bridger. Christmas Eve in their matching pj's

I decided to give Max a little hair trim, he was ok when we started, but hated it before the end.

Look at those eyes and eyelashes. I wish I had those lashes, he didn't get them from me!

He was so mad that I was cutting his hair, but doesn't he look handsome!

We give Max a sink bath every once in a while, usually after dinner when he has made a huge mess everywhere.

After the beachwear we had to put on some winter clothes, he wasn't so happy for these pictures.

I think I need to take this kid in for a professional photo shoot, he loves the camera, I don't mind though, we are having lots of fun. If you look close you can see his little tooth on the bottom. He finally cut it a week or so ago. He was pretty grumpy for a couple of days, but as you can see my happy baby is back! Well that is all for the pictures for now, hope you enjoyed them!!
